There are worse places to be stranded…. Maybe with some luck we can set sail eventually, but making the start line seems unlikely.
First leg of our transatlantic comes to an end. We arrive in Cape Verde at dawn with Venus and the sun rising behind us and the dark silhouette of the islands ahead. After a few short days there, we all agree that we wish we had more time in Cabo Verde. The people and the landscapes are stunning.
Join us for a short tour of the island and watch as we deal with last-minute issues before setting off for leg two of our Atlantic crossing.
