Once we decided it was time, it happened SO FAST. One day we were in Michigan writing the ‘for sale’ ad for our Tartan 37, and a few weeks later we were in Florida getting the rest of our belongings off a boat — that was no longer ours.
We knew this day would come, but when it’s finally time to say goodbye, it’s hard. Memories come rushing back together like a tsunami. All the time and effort, heart and soul we poured into this boat over the last four years… It’s a lot.
But worry not, this is only the close of the FIRST chapter.
On to the next!
