Winter came out of nowhere this week, and it changed everything. I was planning to finish insulating the shed and finally start getting the siding installed… but instead we woke up to the first big snow of the season, and my dad ended up in the hospital overnight with arm pain that could’ve been something serious.
So in this episode, we’re trying to make progress wherever we can. I wrap up the roof insulation, we start installing the trim and siding for the very first time, and I quickly realize just how steep the learning curve is. We only manage to finish one wall, but it felt like a win after the week we had.
We also squeeze in a little family time, take the girls fishing, cook up some fresh trout, and say goodbye to my parents as they head home. Not the week we expected… but we kept moving forward.
