One of the toughest things about sailing around the world is the fact that so many of the essential support structures that most people take for granted are always changing. Where we can get our groceries, how we get propane for cooking, where we take our daughter when she gets sick, even something as simple as where we’re allowed to park our dinghy. These core aspects of our life are constantly changing, and that’s one of the fun things about this lifestyle but it can also be really stressful at times. But all of that is about to go to a whole nother level because Desiree is pregnant!
Life on the move while being pregnant is seriously challenging, from figuring when and where to have pre-natal check-ups, to where in the world we’re going to have this baby.
We love our voyaging lifestyle and we’re so thrilled that we’re going to have this baby but for us to maintain our sanity we need to come up with a solid plan and fast.
