As we build our own home in the mountains, mistakes don’t always show up right away — sometimes they surface when you’re forced to lock things in. This episode follows a week where we had to slow down, face an earlier decision, and reckon with what learning on the fly really looks like when you’re doing this together.
It also comes at a turning point. With our workshop build about to begin — the biggest and most important project we’ve taken on so far — this week felt like a final checkpoint before everything gets more serious. Less progress, more reflection, and a clear reminder that how we build going forward really matters.
