This week, we had to put the build on hold.
Our daughter was born with a rare medical condition, and recently her neurosurgeon asked us to travel to Boston Children’s Hospital for a diagnostic angiogram. It’s a serious test that comes with real risks — and the results could have a major impact on her future.
We filmed the experience as honestly as we could because this journey — the highs, the lows, and the unexpected detours — is all part of our life as we try to build a home for our family here in the mountains.
Before leaving for Boston, we managed to squeeze in one small but important project on the property. Then we packed up and made the trip north for one of the hardest weeks of our lives.
Thank you to everyone who’s been following our story and supporting us through all of this.
