We found a hidden Paradise! | S02E19
After exploring much of Bahia de Ascension (Mexico) and the nearby remote fishing village of Punta Allen we get lost in an extensive mangrove maze that wound its way into a large lagoon. After finding our way back to Atticus we decide to move the boat to an isolated anchorage on the south east side of the bay. The anchorage turned out to be even more beautiful and remote than we had imagined, without a single soul for miles. Mangrove islands full of songbirds and the occasional surfacing of dolphins are the only noises we hear as we prepare our gear for a picturesque snorkeling expedition. This part of Ascension definitely deserves the label of a hidden paradise and we are so excited to have found it!
