When we are sailing the beginning and end of the trip are often the only parts where we see land. We’ve been out at sea for days or even weeks without seeing anything but birds and waves. But every now and then we find ourselves in a place where we sail by one amazing sight after another, learning more about the lands and culture around us than we ever would with our feet on dry land.
