We’ve been busy carving out flat land, planning building sites, and trying to bring our vision to life. This property was a gamble, but we had a plan… at least, we thought we did.
This week, that plan takes an unexpected turn.
As we continue excavation, we realize the original layout won’t quite work. So we pivot—making space for something we didn’t originally intend to build, but now feels absolutely essential for our family’s future on this land.
We’re not just making progress out here—we’re learning to adapt, sacrifice, and build something that will truly work for the life we’re creating.
