Not long ago we fell in love with the idea of selling everything and buying some land out in nature. Away from the craziness of civilization, where we can build our own home, work the earth with our own hands, and carve out our own little slice of heaven. Basically we want to build a mountain homestead and recently, in the mountains of North Carolina, we found the perfect piece of land.
Or is it? Honestly we have no idea what we’re doing so we could be wrong but I mean I think its pretty good…. So this week I’m going to tour every square inch of this two and a half acres on the edge of the Smoky Mountains to see if this land could become our dream homestead, or if we might want to steer clear.
