I think we can all agree that 2020 and the covid pandemic was a pretty awful time. But one of the unexpected side effects of covid was that when country finally emerge out of lockdown, people in the U.S. found themselves wanting more than ever to be close to nature and the outdoors. And so people began moving en masse to parts of the country that had previously gone relatively unnoticed.
Chattanooga Tennessee is just one of those places. It’s got all the conveniences and comforts of a city but with a lower cost of living and access to more outdoor activities than most of the more densely populated cities around the country.
This week we were blown away by just how beautiful the area around Chattanooga was, which begs the question, should we make Chattanooga our new home?
We’re Jordan, Desiree, Isabella, and Oso. We spent the last ten years sailing around the world but now it’s time for us to settle down and grow some roots. So we’re traveling in our truck and trailer to decide where in this beautiful country we’d like to call home and along the way we’re getting to know our own country like never before. So join us on our journey this week to discover the beautiful nature and laid back vibe of the Appalachia’s most Western City, Chattanooga.
