Snorkeling hidden reefs in Cuba | S02E08
When checking into Marina Hemingway, the port captain told us that we could not go ashore anywhere along the N.W Cuban Coast except Cayo Levisa between Havana and Cabo de San Antonio because there weren’t any facilities to officially check into on any other coastal towns. We had read in Cheryl Barr’s Cruising Guide to Cuba that we could go ashore in a cool fishing village called Puerto Esperanza and hitch a ride to Viñales, BUT this was not the case in 2017.
So, we headed to Cayo Levisa to see if we could find a way ashore for an inland rock climbing adventure!
While in Cayo Levisa we explored the island and took little shit out for a snorkeling adventure and we spent the whole day with reef after reef to ALL to ourselves!
