Day two and three of framing pushed me into unfamiliar territory fast.
We wrapped the first floor, set the floor trusses, and suddenly most of the work was happening without solid ground under our feet.
I didn’t realize how exposed framing feels before the flooring goes down—carrying lumber, moving tools, and trying to keep up while working over open gaps. The crew is completely at home up there. I’m… learning.
This week was about adjusting to a new level of intensity, trusting the process, and getting more comfortable doing things that felt sketchy at first—because that’s what building this place is going to require.
Huge thanks to the crew who helped make this happen — links to everyone involved below.
