I’ve framed walls before, but they were usually for small sheds where “close enough” was good enough. This is different. This is my actual home in Bryson City, North Carolina, and every mistake I make now is a mistake I’ll have to live with (literally).
In the first half of today’s episode, my dad and I take on the challenge of framing our first interior wall solo. The goal? Don’t repeat the mistakes of the past. No twisted studs, no “good enough” corners—just pure, square framing.
Then, the real pros arrive.
I’ve got my friends from Ellis Earthworksand Custom Homes come to help me finish the rest of the interior walls.
