This week, we’re pushing to get our 12×12 shed dried in—finishing the wall sheathing and tackling the roof. It’s our biggest milestone yet in this DIY shed build, and if we can pull it off, we’ll finally have a dry space to store tools and work from while we build out the rest of our homestead.
It’s also my dad’s last day helping out on the build, so we’re doing our best to make it count. Between the roofing, the blocking, and the never-ending puzzle of learning as we go, this episode is all about keeping momentum—even when the work gets tiring.
We’re complete beginners, figuring out every step along the way, and documenting the process for anyone out there trying to do the same.
