Panama is starting to lock down and close non-essential businesses due to the coronavirus pandemic. As a result, the Panama Canal has been closed to recreational yachts, leaving us with no option but to postpone our Pacific Crossing until 2021.

So, we decide to wait out the lockdowns and closures by doing some offgrid cruising in Bocas Del Toro, but before casting the lines, we need to re-provision and get Atticus ready to sail again. While doing routine engine maintenance, we encounter a problem…
