What started out as a pretty uneventful sail turned into one of the most hair raising experiences on Popao. Out of control and surfing at 16 knots, is not something we want to experience anytime again soon. We learnt a lot about what to do in the future as we pull into Camden haven with our tail between our legs…

After spending over a decade travelling to the ends of the earth to chase fish and experience some amazing underwater encounters it only seemed natural to finally live on the ocean. With little sailing experience, they spent their life savings on a 37ft Peter Snell Easy Catamaran renamed "Popao".
