MRBEAST GAVE AWAY BEN'S CAY IN RAGGED ISLANDS - BAHAMAS

Do you all know the @MrBeast YouTube Star? To celebrate hitting 100 million subscribers, Jimmy held his competition on the remote island of Ben’s Cay, Ragged Island, Bahamas!

So, we visited the private island recently while sailing and anchoring nearby in Johnson’s Cay. I’m sure he won’t mind – after all, he runs his ultra successful enterprise out of Greenville NC! Us Carolina folks stick together! And I’m sure he won’t mind the extra publicity! It wasn’t easy to get on the island as it was surrounded by sharp coral, and the dock was no longer usable, but the production crew had carved out one section that I walked up to get on the island.

Here’s how the challenges went.
1: 100 people tried to build a fire with sticks.
2: those 50 winners competed in red light-green light race.
3: those 10 winners chose a plank on the pirate ship that wouldn’t fall in.
4: those 5 winners treasure hunted for the big play button in a case, and the island contract.

Mallory won! So, MrBeast gifted her Ben’s Cay. What did she do with it? Nothing. She had no clue what to do with this island, so MrBeast bought it back from her.

And here it sits today, just like many other uninhabited islands in the Bahamas.
