Cleaning the bottom of our Catamaran Multihull – Don’t swallow! EP25

Recently had a little trouble getting someone to clean bottom of our catamaran at a reasonable price, so guess what. DIY. Stephen and I did a bit one beautiful morning with just a mask, snorkel and holding our breath. We tied ourselves on with suction handles and rope and tried desperately to not swallow the water filled with sea creatures, algae and who knows what! Then, for the serious cleaning, we got out our Brownie air compressor and Stephen and our friend/ship engineer Bill (we hope he’s still our friend after this), finished the job. Should add a couple of knots to our speed! Hard work, but so worth it. THANKS BILL!
