After finishing a busy charter season on a super yacht, I fly to France to get a personal tour of the Lagoon catamaran factory in Bordeaux, by the director Thomas Gailly. This was a nerve wracking encounter as there was a bit of tension between us as a result of the whole bulkhead fiasco which had transpired since I showed my broken bulkhead series.
SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged Lagoon 450 catamaran, which Colin rebuilt with friends and has started sailing around the world. They found bulkhead damage to their catamaran in Panama, so have fixed her up, and are ready to cross the pacific ocean soon!
Thank you to Lagoon and Claris image builder for the footage inside the factory.
