We leave Mill Bay and start heading North again when we run into a little snag. Our throttle lever wont go into gear. We Cant go forward or backward! We spend some time trying to fix it and limp to a near by anchorage until we can get his fixed....oh year ...
We ride out some storms without being able to move to more protected places while we wait for our new throttle. We check out some local hiking and food on Salt Spring Island. This is Winter Sailing in the Gulf Islands.

This week we do the Haul out! We have the old paint sanded back, and have new bottom paint applied. Which takes longer than expected. We replace our zincs and hopefully we aren't out of the water too long before we can Splash again!

Last year we sailed with our best friend Victoria to Plumpers cove, on Keats Island. We attempted to hike to Salmon rock, but we were not able to complete the hike. This year we attempt the hike again!
We take our first Patron for a sunset cruise, clear out Palle's back up apartment, and get everything ready to leave Canada to start cruising! We have a whole list of chores to get ready to go!
