E37 PAINTING our DECKS (kiwi grip) to PROTECT our DOG
Join us this week on Sailing Nendaz as I get to work on painting the decks. We chose to paint them with Kiwi Grip, which is a paint that dries with a texture and therefore provides grip.
We mainly did this for two reasons, to stop Walter slipping around on deck, and also because the white painted decks were peeling in various places.

Sailing Nendaz
We're the Hansons, made up of Flick, Joe and Walter, and we're inviting you to transition with us from our safe, steady, land-based life to a totally new adventure on the high seas aboard our Gib'Sea 402 blue water sailing boat Nendaz. Nendaz is named after a small town in the mountains in Switzerland, one close to our hearts, an ode to our love for the mountains that we can bring with us on our journey across the seas. We're steadily upgrading the boat from a weekend boat to a full-time live aboard and trying to do as much as possible ourselves. Watch as we become mechanics, plumbers, engineers, electricians, carpenters, and finally untie the lines and then the real adventure begins! We post weekly videos every Friday.
