In this episode we sit down and discuss the logistics of having a dog onboard our sailboat, how we navigate getting him on and off the boat, how he goes to the toilet, and how we navigate border crossings.
In general there is a lot of paperwork and costs that come along with having a dog, and this seems to double again once you try taking a dog to different counties, especially a high risk rabies country.
Moving Walter from Portugal to Morocco proved to be particularly expensive, and long winded.

Sailing Nendaz
We're the Hansons, made up of Flick, Joe and Walter, and we're inviting you to transition with us from our safe, steady, land-based life to a totally new adventure on the high seas aboard our Gib'Sea 402 blue water sailing boat Nendaz. Nendaz is named after a small town in the mountains in Switzerland, one close to our hearts, an ode to our love for the mountains that we can bring with us on our journey across the seas. We're steadily upgrading the boat from a weekend boat to a full-time live aboard and trying to do as much as possible ourselves.
