E21 LOST our PROPSHAFT & started SINKING (1 inch hole in the boat)
In this weeks episode we debrief the story of how we lost our propshaft a couple miles out of Cascais. Needless to say it was fairly traumatising. The propshaft was no longer in the engine room, and we now had a 1-inch hole in the boat. Water was pouring in, at quite the rate. Watch the video to find out what happens!
We wake up the next morning to find out that we had inadvertently anchoring in the middle of an Ironman race. We had swimmers coming past the boat.
We then spent the next couple of weeks in Cascais exploring everything it had to offer, we met some amazing friends, watched some beautiful sunsets, and ate a lot of ice cream.

We're the Hansons, made up of Flick, Joe and Walter, and we're inviting you to transition with us from our safe, steady, land-based life to a totally new adventure on the high seas aboard our Gib'Sea 402 blue water sailing boat Nendaz.
