In this weeks episode we finally get to relaunch the boat, yay us!
But first we have a lot of cleaning and polishing of the topsides of the boat. An arduous and exhausting process. Once we finally got that done we drilled a hole in the boat and installed our Airmar DST 810 triducer. And to finish off we installed 4G wifi on the boat with a Teltonika RUT 955. Then ground back the bottom of the keel, slathered it in primer and anti-foul.

We're the Hansons, made up of Flick, Joe and Walter, and we're inviting you to transition with us from our safe, steady, land-based life to a totally new adventure on the high seas aboard our Gib'Sea 402 blue water sailing boat Nendaz. Nendaz is named after a small town in the mountains in Switzerland, one close to our hearts, an ode to our love for the mountains that we can bring with us on our journey across the seas. We're steadily upgrading the boat from a weekend boat to a full-time live aboard and trying to do as much as possible ourselves. Watch as we become mechanics, plumbers, engineers, electricians, carpenters, and finally untie the lines and then the real adventure begins! We post weekly videos every Friday.
