Embark on a thrilling voyage with Sailing MV Lady Liselot as we explore uncharted territory and traverse stunning Dutch waterways. Our latest adventure takes us through unfamiliar rivers, canals, and locks, where Captain Liselot shares her thoughts and experiences.
After a successful day of anchoring near the Follard, Captain Liselot decided it was time to venture into new territories. With beautiful weather and sunshine on her side, she set sail to explore unknown waterways.
As we followed Captain Liselot through the Dutch canals, we encountered a large marina filled with beautifully maintained boats. The sight of so many impressive vessels reminded us of how popular boating has become in the Netherlands.
Throughout our journey, Captain Liselot often stopped to admire other boats and reflect on their seaworthiness. In her eyes, a boat’s capacity and capability to handle different situations play a significant role in its overall value.
In one of her introspective moments, Captain Liselot discussed how she is fascinated by various businesses and industries along the River Delt. She found herself pondering about their business models while sailing past factories, plants, and greenhouses.
Our adventure was not without its challenges. When encountering a 7-meter high bridge, Captain Liselot had to adjust her sails and even lower the mast to ensure safe passage.
With a smile on her face, Captain Liselot invited viewers to join her for coffee and future adventures. We eagerly await the next video, where we’re sure to discover more breathtaking scenery and perhaps a new business to admire.
Still on tour towards the city Breda. Never been there so that means that we explore new surroundings and horizons. We started with fog but later the day the sun comes out. As happens often in The Netherlands. In Gouda we had a bridge with a predicted height of 7.00m and then I had to lower the mast, since we did not fit.
Also on this leg we face some bridges of 7.00m and will I be able to pass these with the mast up?

Cams aboard Lady Liselot. Check them out on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3P5jFxP (but the silly thing is: these https://amzn.to/3T1AYB2 almost are alike).
The 4 camera's I use to produce my outdoor footage, are so called PTZ - P(an) T(ilt) Z(oom). Zoom, I only use on the rear camera, when I am underway. As you have seen I use the pan and tilt a lot. And in the dark they produce a great (short view) infrared image. I even can navigate in a marina at night on my cams.
Since they all are so called "IP camera's", each have an unique (hardwired) IP address (no DNS) in my network.

This channel follows a format: "Join Henk-Jan, whilst he cruises on motorvessel Lady Liselot through The Netherlands and a little further". That's it. This automatically means: no boat tour and no boat jobs. These subjects do not fit the format. So, I aim to give you a feel for what life's like aboard for me and hope you enjoy it, perhaps relate to it or maybe even learn something. But it's simply my story and the way I do things. Nothing more, nothing less.

Nederlands.
