Waarom ik alles in het Engels doe?
Omdat ik bootjes video’s kijk van Fransen, Denen, Noren, Spanjaarden, Portugezen, Duitsers én heel veel Engelstaligen die allemaal Engels lullen. Want alleen dan kan je je ervaring wereldwijd delen. En wat blijkt? Mijn video’s worden in 127 landen bekeken (zie S03/E01 voor de lijst). Veel van mijn kijkers en abonnees zijn Engelstaligen die mijn video’s helemaal top vinden, omdat ze óf familie hebben uit Nederland, of hier jaren geleden zijn geboren en door omstandigheden nu elders op de wereld wonen.
Het wordt tijd om Den Helder weer te verlaten en terug te gaan naar mijn ankerplek op de Kagerplassen. Deze keer ga ik via de Waddenzee, het IJssel- en Markermeer, door hoofdstad Amsterdam en via de ringvaart weer naar de Kagerplassen. In deze video deel ik de eerste etappe met je, van de Flaneerkade in Den Helder tot de sluizen van Den Oever.
Ook met deze video probeer ik je een idee te geven van hoe het leven aan boord voor mij is en ik hoop dat je ervan geniet of misschien zelfs iets leert. Maar het is gewoon mijn verhaal en de manier waarop ik de dingen doe. Niets meer niets minder.

She is a 1980 49ft Blue Ocean Trawler and named after my daughter: "Fien Liselot". Build in Lien Hwa Boat Yard (established in 1978). Lien Hwa Boat Yard builded boats for several OEM partners included Blue Ocean (Holland – power boats), Little Harbor (US – sail boats), Marine Trader (US – power boats), Trade Winds (US – power boats).
