Once moored in Leiden, I decide to continue sailing to Leidschendam. And suddenly the system of my throttles starts beeping and goes into malfunction. Where does that suddenly come from?

Weet je dat Nederlandse ondertiteling aan kan zetten? Doorgaans zo’n 4 uur nadat de video is gepubliceerd. Klik op de video, en kies uit de iconen die rechtsonder verschijnen dan voor [ondertiteling] en kies daar voor Nederlands. Dan wordt zelfs mijn Engels (knap he van YouTube) vertaald naar Nederlandsch.
Eenmaal afgemeerd in Leiden, besluit ik om door te varen naar Leidschendam. En opeens begint het systeem van mijn gashandels te piepen en gaat in storing. Waar komt dat nu opeens vandaan?
Super leuk trouwens dat je deze video hebt gevonden. Ik ben Henk-Jan, en behalve dit kanaal, kan het zomaar zijn dat je mij online op nog meer plaatsen tegen komt. Ervaringen en kennis delen via bewegend beeld, blijft nu eenmaal leuk. Vind ik dan. (en jij blijkbaar ook, want anders las je dit niet)

Omdat ik veel (bootjes-)kennissen heb die in het buitenland wonen, heb ik besloten om de video in het Engels te doen. Wellicht vind je het ‘steenkolen Engels’, vergeef me dat dan maar, want zij die uitsluitend Engels spreken of Engels ook als 2e taal hebben, zijn al heel blij dat ze op deze manier mij kunnen volgen. Helaas betekent dit dat een aantal Nederlanders die het Engels niet machtig zijn, de video’s lastiger kunnen volgen. Helaas is dat zo.
Maar, als je het desondanks toch leuk vindt, dan maak je me blij met die Thumbs Up.

2024 is Season 4 of Sailing MV LadyLiselot. I am Henk-Jan (1965 - I know, one would not tell), a #liveaboard on this #trawler #yacht where I live, work, #singlehanded sail and enjoy life in #thenetherlands. She is a 1980 49ft Blue Ocean Trawler and named after my daughter: "Fien Liselot". Build in Lien Hwa Boat Yard (established in 1978). Lien Hwa Boat Yard builded boats for several OEM partners included Blue Ocean (Holland – power boats), Little Harbor (US – sail boats), Marine Trader (US – power boats), Trade Winds (US – power boats). This channel follows a format: "Join Henk-Jan, whilst he cruises with Lady Liselot". That's it. This automatically means: no boat tour and no boat jobs. These subjects do not fit the format.
