On the 1st of September 2024, I leave Falkenberg in Sweden, heading for Gilleleje in Denmark. At first I am amazed by the calmness of the sea, but than something happens that make the boat dance like a Disco Queen and make me surf the waves.

2024 is Season 4 of Sailing MV LadyLiselot. I am Henk-Jan (1965 - I know, one would not tell), a #liveaboard on this #trawler #yacht where I live, work, #singlehanded sail and enjoy life in #thenetherlands. She is a 1980 49ft Blue Ocean Trawler and named after my daughter: "Fien Liselot". Build in Lien Hwa Boat Yard (established in 1978). Lien Hwa Boat Yard builded boats for several OEM partners included Blue Ocean (Holland – power boats), Little Harbor (US – sail boats), Marine Trader (US – power boats), Trade Winds (US – power boats).
