Despite the fact that in 1975 the IJsselmeer was split into the IJsselmeer (1.100 km2) and the Markermeer (700 km2), the region itself is still the largest fresh water lake MADE BY MAN in western Europe. The downside is that it is only 3.5m to 5.5 (in the traffic lane) deep, causing seasickness in a minute the moment you face a strong breeze. Let’s see if this is the case this time. Goodbye Amsterdam! What is behind these doors??

Sailing MV Lady Liselot
2024 is Season 4 of Sailing MV LadyLiselot. I am Henk-Jan (1965 - I know, one would not tell), a #liveaboard on this #trawler #yacht where I live, work, #singlehanded sail and enjoy life in #thenetherlands. She is a 1980 49ft Blue Ocean Trawler and named after my daughter: "Fien Liselot". Build in Lien Hwa Boat Yard (established in 1978). Lien Hwa Boat Yard builded boats for several OEM partners included Blue Ocean (Holland – power boats), Little Harbor (US – sail boats), Marine Trader (US – power boats), Trade Winds (US – power boats). This channel follows a format: "Join Henk-Jan, whilst he cruises with Lady Liselot". That's it. This automatically means: no boat tour and no boat jobs. These subjects do not fit the format.
