2. Click your mouse/pointer/finger (hold) on the screen and move in any direction
3. More sophisticated option when using a smartphone: use your smartphone as a viewfinder and point that to the direction you want to see. (uhm, yes, this only works if you watch the video on your smartphone…)
I was looking for a way to get some of my video’s out as soon as possible, without to many hours of editing, so the moment I set foot in Ramsgate, The UK, I decided to do a walk along with the Insta 360 Camera.
I love to share this 360degrees Virtual Reality possibility on YouTube, and unfortunately I am not possible (yet) to integrate 360degrees views with regular footage, so for now I have to separate the recordings if I also wanna share the 360degrees experience with you.

Waarom ik alles in het Engels doe?
Omdat ik video’s kijk van Fransen, Denen, Noren, Spanjaarden, Portugezen, Duitsers én heel veel Engelstaligen die allemaal Engels lullen en ook bootjesmensen / liveaboards zijn. Want alleen dan kan je je ervaring wereldwijd delen. En wat blijkt? Mijn video’s worden in 127 landen bekeken (zie S03/E01 voor de lijst). Veel van mijn kijkers en abonnees zijn Engelstaligen die mijn video’s helemaal top vinden, omdat ze óf familie hebben uit Nederland, of hier jaren geleden zijn geboren en door omstandigheden nu elders op de wereld wonen. En, dat ik dan Engels spreek met een accentje (net als de Fransen, Denen, Noren, Spanjaarden, Portugezen, Duitsers overigens) dan interesseert hen dat geen reet.
Weet je dat Nederlandse ondertiteling aan kan zetten? Doorgaans zo’n 4 uur nadat de video is gepubliceerd. Klik op de video, en kies uit de iconen die rechtsonder verschijnen dan voor [ondertiteling] en kies daar voor Nederlands. Dan wordt zelfs mijn steenkolen Engels (knap he van die jongens en meisjes YouTube) vertaald naar Nederlandsch.

2024 is Season 4 of Sailing MV LadyLiselot. I am Henk-Jan (1965 - I know, one would not tell), a #liveaboard on this #trawler #yacht where I live, work, #singlehanded sail and enjoy life in #thenetherlands. She is a 1980 49ft Blue Ocean Trawler and named after my daughter: "Fien Liselot". Build in Lien Hwa Boat Yard (established in 1978). Lien Hwa Boat Yard builded boats for several OEM partners included Blue Ocean (Holland – power boats), Little Harbor (US – sail boats), Marine Trader (US – power boats), Trade Winds (US – power boats).
