9] Sailing to Cherbourg, Exploring the City, and a New Dinghy and Outboard | Sailing Mutiny

This is a jam-packed episode! Join us as we sail from Honfleur to Barfleur for an overnight stop in an anchorage before the swell forces us to leave and sail to Cherbourg on the French Coast. Cruising Northern France continues!

We spent two weeks berthed in Port Chantereyne Cherbourg in Manche, Normandy. (Port de Plaisance de Cherbourg-Octeville).

During our time in Cherbourg, we walked up to have a look around the Liberation Museum, celebrated both of our birthdays with raclette and had a tour of the surrounding area from Julien (our new friend!) where we took in Omonville and the smallest port in France; Port Racine. We also got ourselves a new dinghy and outboard as the ones that came with the boat needed replacing – we had lots of fun testing these out around the marina! My Mum came over for a flying visit, we found new ways to entertain ourselves onboard and treated ourselves to some folding bikes for our birthdays!
