After months away from my sailboat to have my baby, today I’m finally taking her back out to sea… and things get real very fast. This is my first sail after having a baby, and I’m more out of practice than I expected. While leaving the marina for our first offshore passage, I make one mistake that nearly sends my classic ketch straight into the rocks.
