For 8 weeks we during the Christmas period, we were in Australia. Released to you finally (after we got our hard drives back) is our camping trip to Straddie (aka Stradbroke Island).
What was initially meant to be a short one night stop to explore this beautiful sand island, we extended for a further few days; getting lost (literally) on beaches while four wheeled driving, hiking to remote lakes as well as swimming and attempting to surf in the clear water!
We really loved this place and we hope you enjoy the episode!

Sailing Millennial Falcon

What do you do when the whole world seems hell bent on getting a mortgage, buying houses and procreating but your not quite ready to join them? Well, we decided to scrounge every penny we had, buy a boat and chase the adventure of a lifetime in the hope of challenging the assumption that prolonged world travel is only for the mega rich and the retired. Khiara and I (Adam) are from Melbourne, Australia. We bought the Millennial Falcon, a 1981 Tayana 42, in Port Charlotte, Florida in February of 2018 and have been repairing her in many weird and wonderful places ever since! It's been one hell of an adventure so far and we hope to continue for as long and as far as we can! We saved for many years to realise our goal. Watching other sailing channels, in addition to brightening our work days, gave us the hope and drive to continue saving and eventually take the plunge! So please join us on our adventure. I hope we make you laugh and can prove to some of you that it can be done!
