We left the beautiful Ronde Island to sail north to Carriacou. A few days after arriving, we arranged to catch up with a new friend, Trevor Robertson, who has many sailing accomplishments under his belt and who we have persuaded to spare his time for an interview with Adam (coming soon).
Before a further catch up could be arranged, we spot some bad weather coming towards the southern leeward islands (near where we are) and there is lots of uncertainty in the forecasting models of what will transpire.
Tropical storm Gonzalo had formed. Boats are hauling out, heading to mangrove and generally preparing for a hurricane all around us. We start to realize that maybe our previous two years of good luck in avoiding hurricanes, has started to run out and we may have to face some bad weather.

Sailing Millennial Falcon
What do you do when the whole world seems hell bent on getting a mortgage, buying houses and procreating but your not quite ready to join them? Well, we decided to scrounge every penny we had, buy a boat and chase the adventure of a lifetime in the hope of challenging the assumption that prolonged world travel is only for the mega rich and the retired. Khiara and I (Adam) are from Melbourne, Australia. We bought the Millennial Falcon, a 1981 Tayana 42, in Port Charlotte, Florida in February of 2018 and have been repairing her in many weird and wonderful places ever since! It's been one hell of an adventure so far and we hope to continue for as long and as far as we can! We saved for many years to realise our goal. Watching other sailing channels, in addition to brightening our work days, gave us the hope and drive to continue saving and eventually take the plunge! So please join us on our adventure. I hope we make you laugh and can prove to some of you that it can be done!
