We’ve been back in the water a few days but have only gone for a race on Adrianna1, so it’s time to get some water flowing under the hull and hoist the sails again.
We left from Tyrell bay in Carriacou to Anse la Roche, an anchorage on the northern side of the island. We get to use our new (to us) traveller that we recently installed for the first time and are so happy with the results!
After a great sail, we head to the beautiful anchorage. The next day we meet some friends who are also there and Adam is persuaded to take his kite board for a spin being towed behind the dinghy. For the rest of the afternoon we have some fun wake boarding and wiping out.
After hearing of our success being towed behind a dinghy, a new friend on a power cat wants to up the game and takes Adam out to be towed behind the big boat… and there is a big amount of wake!
A few days later, to loosen up the sore limbs, we head for a walk up to the peak of a nearby mountain. The wand of spiders comes out of retirement and we meet a few tortoise along the way. The peak was beautiful and we got the drone flying too!

What do you do when the whole world seems hell bent on getting a mortgage, buying houses and procreating but your not quite ready to join them? Well, we decided to scrounge every penny we had, buy a boat and chase the adventure of a lifetime in the hope of challenging the assumption that prolonged world travel is only for the mega rich and the retired. Khiara and I (Adam) are from Melbourne, Australia. We bought the Millennial Falcon, a 1981 Tayana 42, in Port Charlotte, Florida in February of 2018 and have been repairing her in many weird and wonderful places ever since! It's been one hell of an adventure so far and we hope to continue for as long and as far as we can! We saved for many years to realise our goal. Watching other sailing channels, in addition to brightening our work days, gave us the hope and drive to continue saving and eventually take the plunge! So please join us on our adventure. I hope we make you laugh and can prove to some of you that it can be done!
