TINY BOAT - HUGE WAVES!!!
In this episode we Sail in South Wales – Milford Have to Fishguard, through the notorious waters of Jack Sound and Ramsey sound.
We are Andy, Melissa and Jack, a sailing family based in North Wales, looking for a bluewater sailing yacht to take us around the world.
Miss Rosie is our Great Dane 28 Sailing Yacht.
She is a beautiful full keel, heavy displacement cruising yacht with a transom and keel hung rudder. She has a Volvo Penta MD2B engine.
The Great Dane 28 is, despite it’s size a fantastic bluewater sailing yacht and many have circumnavigated the globe. Is she the boat that will take us around the world though? Who knows. Sailing Melody
Sailing Melody is the official YouTube channel for the Bennington Family and our sailing adventures. We are now well on our way to becoming a full time live-aboard family. We started with a little 24ft Snapdragon bilge keel, and then moved up to a 28ft Great Dane long keel yacht. Now though we're working on MELODY, our 38ft Steel Pilothouse Cutter. We're working hard to get her ready to go back in the water but as you'll see there's a lot of work to do. We made an awesome cockpit enclosure for out sailing yacht so we could protect our kids from sun, rain and wind. It also holds some huge solar panels. It adds comfort and safety when sailing and looks great too.
