In this episode we finally get away from Padstow and sail around lands end to Newlyn. The passage was rough and Ollie didn’t have the best day, so the following day Andy took the kids off the boat and went by land to the Helford River so that Melissa could sail OM around the Lizard in some very exciting conditions. We were glad to have some very capable and experience friends to join us for this part, but now we’re passed the Lizard we’re into a part of the south coast of England where we can do much shorter hops and enjoy a more sedate pace.

Sailing Melody
Sailing Melody is the official YouTube channel for the Bennington Family and our sailing adventures. We are now well on our way to becoming a full time live-aboard family. We started with a little 24ft Snapdragon bilge keel, and then moved up to a 28ft Great Dane long keel yacht. Now though we're working on MELODY, our 38ft Steel Pilothouse Cutter. We're working hard to get her ready to go back in the water but as you'll see there's a lot of work to do. Join us on our epic journey restoring this beautiful boat to her former glory and then come with us as we set off around the world.
