One year of progress.
One year of working together to turn our rusty old yacht into our future tiny home.
We are a family of three in the UK who, together, are restoring an old, rusty, abandoned sailing yacht with limited time, limited funds and limited skills and equipment.
But one thing above all has surprised us on this journey, and that is how much we have been amazed by the support we have had from our viewers, patrons, KOFI and Paypal supporters and all the incredible people we’ve met along the way.

Sailing Melody is the official YouTube channel for the Bennington Family and our sailing adventures. We are now well on our way to becoming a full time live-aboard family. We started with a little 24ft Snapdragon bilge keel, and then moved up to a 28ft Great Dane long keel yacht. Now though we're working on MELODY, our 38ft Steel Pilothouse Cutter. We're working hard to get her ready to go back in the water but as you'll see there's a lot of work to do. Join us on our epic journey restoring this beautiful boat to her former glory and then come with us as we set off around the world.
