A special song...

We are OVERWHELMED, AMAZED, GRATEFUL, HUMBLED… insert any other synonym here!

Here’s a song I wrote for our new patreons as a way of saying THANK YOU. I feel like I’ve been riding on a little cloud for the past two days. Knowing that people not only like our videos, but like them SO MUCH that they’re willing to support us –– what a feeling that is.

It has been my plan and my dream for a long time to not only sail, but to create videos about sailing as we go. I have ALWAYS felt a bit confused about what I really wanted to do. I love music, so I wanted to be a musician. I love writing, so I wanted to be a journalist. I love the oceans, so I wanted to write and speak publicly about ocean conservation. I love sailing, so I wanted to be a sailor. I love photography, so I wanted to be a photographer. Any time I focussed on just ONE of those things, I felt a little part of me get sad that I was ignoring the others.

Well, guess what. I’ve found a way to combine all those passions. And you know what’s even better? I’ve found my dream man to pursue those passions with.

I am amazed and refreshed by the audience these videos have attracted. From all of your comments, messages and posts, I can see that we have a pretty amazing group of people to share our story with. You are all sailors, adventurers, dreamers, or just incredibly kind people who like a good story and a bit of music.
