Catamaran haul out in remote Papua.(ep 300)
Boat yards scare the hell out of me, I’ll be honest. It’s never a nice time when that moment comes when you need to haul out and get some hull work done. Very necessery though and it had been 18 months since the last one. We have some big sailing miles coming up in the coming months so now was the time to get Trade Runner in tiptop condition.
Helen Marina is a small facility in Sorong, West Papua Indonesia. They have a home-made trailer that seems to work very well for Cats.
