Our first overnight passage on our new Catamaran, Trade Runner. Pittwater south to Eden, NSW is about 240 nautical miles and we picked a pretty mellow wind for this one. There is a good south running current about 15 miles offshore so we sailed out there and stayed in it all the way south. A really smooth sail with some exciting fishing and both of us arrived at our destination feeling pretty good without the “hangover” that we normally get from a passage like this.
Big win
