EP 166: Sailing to BRAZIL! (1200nm later)

It was time to bid farewell to Ascension Island and make our way over to Brazil. Fernando de Naronha to be exact. A little island off the coast of Brazil. Although we were aware that Brazil is closed and we could not go ashore we opted to go there any way as a safety stop just in case and to partially just see what the big fuss was about. It was a good 8 day sail from Ascension but some of the best sailing conditions. We had our spinnaker up all the time and maybe took her down a total of two times the whole trip. We sat so well in the water and it was a all in all fantastic trip. No hiccups or anything. Ricky managed to go ashore and check the island out a bit but by the company of the federal police. We got some fresh produce and managed to get a alternator regulator fixed from our engine.. Then it was time to head off and up to Grenada and embark on one of our longest journeys yet and toughest!
