EP 164: fishin’ in my pyjamas on remote islands

After our 700nm journey from St Helena.. we had arrived in Ascension. Luckily for us the island hasn’t been closed.. but it required a lot of paperwork to get on. Covid Medical Insurance.. that covered for medical evac. Had to do E Visas (which needed to get approved first) but we managed and we got on land! We were so happy to be on land (land sickness is real guys) We explored the island and got to meed the locals whom invited on instantly to come barbecue with them. We got down to fishing in the mornings…literally in our PJ’s. The amount of fish life was abundant. We could live off of fish easily in Ascension. We met up with a guy name Tony who took us for some dives although it was recommended by locals not to because of the sharks… we later on saw why.
