Sailing to Cape Town on SY IRENE | Sailing South Africa

Episode 26
**Warning: Strong Language**

So we met up with Denzell & his yacht Irene (Prout 37) and got to know a little about him and what his plans were with Irene (his yacht) & the journey he will be taking with is wife and two kids. After chatting for a while he invited us on board to join him on his sail to Cape Town. We couldn’t say no so we hopped on board!

We had amazing food the whole way. Fish curry, calamari rings & tons more fish!

We had a seal follow us the whole way, and had a engine die out on us. With Ricky and Denzell working on it, Josh made sure to catch us some fish for dinner so we wouldn’t go hungry.

A pigeon just decided to join us on board for the whole trip to Cape Town. He became one of our crew members and was named Pengi. He flew away the minute we got to Cape Town though.

We ended up running out of water and had to take some salty baths off the yacht 😛

We finally arrived after a great 5 days at sea!

Thanks for watching!
