Now that we have arrived in the Caribbean and you can say our dreams are coming true, we thought it would be a good idea to sit down and have a good reminiscence on our last three years and how we felt about it? What did the boat rebuild make us feel? How did we find our Atlantic crossing really and whats next for us and Lady Africa now that we have arrived. We also want to just take the time to say thank you to our AMAZING Patreons and Members for your support throughout, I know it’s a common thing for us to say thank you but we really really mean it. You guys don’t understand how much you helped us get to where we are. To the subscribers who left such positive comments too, we really appreciate it! Sailing Lady Africa
We are a couple from sunny South Africa who decided to buy an old 1991 36.5ft Dean Sailing Catamaran, do a complete rebuild on her and sail the world. We started our boat build in 2018 and completed here in 2020 where we left South Africa and completed an Atlantic Crossing to the Caribbean. Amidst all of this we applied to become US Residents. So follow our journey as we sail the Caribbean and set up a new life in a new country.
