EP: 159- We lost our drone..over a salt flat

We explored an island close to our anchorage that connects up to the pelican point light house and opted to go see if it was something we could hike.. after doing some inspecting we went to the next day with Glen, Luke & Wade and opted to hike to the light house. It was way further than we thought and realized we would only be back by nightfall so cut the hike short and drove there the next day. We drove through the salt flats on the way there and it was amazing to see the pink lakes and see the salt accumulating on the surface. Then disaster struck… our drone got lost and disconnected from the controller. Ricky had no control over it.. We searched for what felt like hours cause how stressed we were.. but it flew back to where it took off and Wadey saved the day. We were so happy cause we definitely didn’t have the budget for another drone 🙁

We carried on our adventure to the light house. We got to see the massive seal colony with all their pups and check out the pelicans. It was pretty epic.
