On their latest vlogging episode, Sailing Joco’s Chrisna and Jeff bravely tackle yet another challenge while fixing up their 40-year-old boat. Just when they thought everything was set to sail from Martinique, the engine refused to start despite having everything ready.

Sailing Joco’s Latest Adventure in Troubleshooting and Repairing Their Motor

This isn’t the first time Chrisna and Jeff have had to face engine issues. The couple sold everything they owned to embark on their life at sea, so they are no strangers to boat repairs and troubleshooting problems on board.

The Start of Their Journey

As usual, their determination shone through. After checking out of the country from Martinique, they had an amusing interaction at the gas station’s fuel dock. Here they encountered a lengthy waiting time to fuel up due to high demand and a single fuel dock. Despite these minor setbacks, their positive attitude remains unwavering.

A Swift Fix to Set Sail

Knowing exactly what to do when their engine wouldn’t start, they swiftly swapped out the starter relay for a new one. Chrisna and Jeff then fired up the motor, successfully starting it on the second attempt after swapping.

The Sailing Journey from Martinique

As they sailed out of the Larne Anchorage, careful navigation was key. They explained the zig-zag route necessary to safely pass through reef areas and highlighted the importance of following markers.

The Continuing Journey

Looking ahead, Sailing Joco’s journey takes them next to St. Pierre and then Dominica. Their current upbeat sailing adventure and repair saga makes for a fun watch as they continue their globetrotting marine lifestyle.
