In this video, we take you through the practical side of cruising, including essential DIY boat maintenance, like varnishing the outside teak to protect it from the harsh marine environment while giving the cockloft a much needed facelift. We discuss how we chose between varnish, teak sealer and teak oil.
We also cover how secure our aluminum dinghy in efforts to prevent theft while ashore or overnight, an important part of cruising life that all boaters should consider.
