Jibsea has made it to The Bahamas!
Sailing where we can’t arrive by car is a huge milestone for us and making it in time for Christmas is an added bonus and we’re excited to be sharing this big moment.
BAHAMAS TOURISM COVID REQUIREMENTS
– Negative RT-PCR test no older than 5 days upon your arrival/check-in to the Bahamas (this was the requirement at the time of our crossing – this has since been extended to 7 days for arrivals between December 23, 2020 to January 4, 2021) – Visit Bahamas.com for up to date requirements
– Approved Health Travel Visa Application (can take up to 48 hours to process)
– If staying longer than 4 days, an Antigen test is required to be completed at an approved testing site on the 5th day (testing fee is included in the Health Travel Visa fee)
– Daily Health Survey completion (received via email) for the first 14 days of stay in The Bahamas
– Separate Covid health insurance is not required as we are required to opt into the Health Insurance coverage when applying for the Travel Health Visa
– No quarantine required after arrival
